Packing List for Treatment
Arrival day at Holder Recovery goes smoother when your bag is already sorted. Bring comfortable clothing you can relax in, your ID and insurance cards, and any prescriptions in their original bottles. Leave valuables and outside substances at home. That is most of it, and our team helps with the rest.
Packing List for Treatment, The Details
Arrival day goes more smoothly when a bag is packed the night before. Whether you are getting ready for your own stay or helping a loved one prepare, a short checklist takes the guesswork out of it.
Here is what to bring:
- Comfortable, casual clothing for about a week, plus a jacket or sweater for cooler evenings
- A photo ID and your insurance card
- Any current prescriptions in their original, labeled bottles
- Basic toiletries, closed-toe shoes, and a few personal comforts like photos of family
Please leave these at home:
- Alcohol, non-prescribed medications, or anything containing them
- Valuables and large amounts of cash
- Weapons or sharp objects
If you are unsure about a specific item, pack it aside and ask our admissions team when you call. They would rather answer the question than have you stress over it.
You do not need to have everything perfect. Bring what you can, and we will help sort out the rest once you are here and settled.
